User Comment:Samsung A900 cell phone for$99
I want to buy the Samsung A900 cell phone you advertised for $99. When I went to "buy it," it was not listed. I hope that does not mean that it is sold. This would replace the phone like this my son lost. I would really appreciate a quick response. Thanks, Pam P,.
by:customer [October 1, 2007 - 12:49]1 October 1, 2007 - 4:36 Indeed, the item has already been sold moments after we listed it. At the price we offer, they do go very quickly. Nonetheless, we do receive items on daily basis, please check back with often on the latest inventory. Thank you!

User Feedback
Does everything it is supposed to do and does them all well. Just received the Samsung SGH X495 as a backup phone (to my P910a) ... no camera, MP3 player, add-in memory cards etc but for a new cell phone user or someone needing a solid phone "that just works simply and solidly" this could be the one.
Pros:
+ Usability is excellent, simple & straightforward
+ strong RF (signal), perhaps not as strong as a Nokia or my P910a but pretty close.
+ excellent speaker-phone
+ clear audio for you & the caller
+ sharp, vibrant screen
+ menus are simple, easy to follow
+ 3 different alarms, great as an alarm clock even works to wake you when the phone is powered off.
+ does WAP/ T-Mobile t-zones nicely
+ good battery life, 2-3 days between charging
+ Outside screen "can" be seen easily in the dark, just hold volume up side button for 1-2 seconds
Cons:
+ no email
+ no easy syncing to get address book, tasks & calendar entrees to/from a PC
Still a "5/5" and a great entry-midrange phone ... it just works, no glitches at all (so far).

User Comment:ATT/Cingular Blackberry?
Hello,
I hope that this finds you well. I am looking at a Blackberry 7210 or 7280 from your company. I have two questions. The first is that the carrier says AT&T, I was a cingular customer will my SIM card work in an AT&T phone? My second question is that I do not have a data plan, I just wanted the blackberry for its organizers and texting abilities, will I be able to use my SIM (which is a prepaid card) on the Blackberry and have it work as just a phone? Thank you.
by:customer [August 4, 2007 - 7:57]1 August 4, 2007 - 11:59 Unless the phone is 'unlocked' (see our Information Center for unlocking a phone), you need to purchase items under Cingular & new at&t category. It will be plug (SIM)-and-play instantly. Yes, w/o a data plan, you may still use the blackberry as a phone.
User Comment:Blackberry 8700
Can I use the blackberry 8700 with Tmobile? I know att and tmobile use the same network but do i need to unlock the phone or just with pop in the sim would work?
Thanks...

by:customer [December 19, 2006 - 6:18]1 December 19, 2006 - 10:20 UNLOCKED phones refer to GSM technologies whereas US Cellular uses CDMA technologies. So you must purchase US Cellular phones to work with your current plan from our US Cellular list: http://www.digicircle.com/ols_buy.php?carrier=US%20Cellular
For more information about GSM vs CDMA vs LOCKED and UNLOCKED, see below:
====================
Activating a Used Cell Phone
Activating a used cell phone requires either no action or just a very simple step, depending on which service provider you use. In cellular service there are two main competing network technologies: GSM (Global System for Mobile Communications) and CDMA (Code Division Multiple Access). The main GSM carriers in the United States are Cingular Wireless, which recently merged with AT&T Wireless, and T-Mobile USA. Major CDMA carriers are Sprint PCS, Verizon and Virgin Mobile. There are also several smaller cellular companies on both networks.
In the United States only GSM phones use SIM (Subscriber Identity Module) cards. The removable SIM card allows phones to be instantly activated when an active SIM card is plugged in as long as both the SIM card and the phone are for the same service provider.
On the other hand, CDMA carriers in the U.S. require proprietary handsets that are linked to one carrier only and are not card-enabled. To activate a CDMA phone, the carrier must deactivate the old phone then activate the new one. The old phone becomes inactive. To avoid any activation charge, CDMA service providers usually offer free online cell phone activation. For example, you may activate your Verizon phones for free at https://myaccount.verizonwireless.com/vzs/renew/activatesplash.jsp. To do that, you will need to provide the serial number, called ESN, of the new phone. For each CDMA phone we sell, the ESN number is available on its item description page.
